System Requirements MailGate Runs On Windows 95/98/ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT 3.51* or later, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003. (Windows NT version available in Intel only). Minimum System Requirement Intel 486 DX2/66 12mb RAM (95/98) or 16mb RAM (NT/Intel) 3mb disk space for application files Sufficient hard disk space for stored mail files and web cache. Recommended System Requirement Intel Pentium 16mb RAM (95/98) or 32mb RAM (NT/Intel) 3mb disk space for application files Sufficient hard disk space for stored mail files and web cache. MailGate Requirements Connection to an Internet Service Provider. This can be a direct line like ADSL or a dial-up connection. TCP/IP installed on all machines in the network that use MailGate. Can use direct IP addresses or Domain Name Server (DNS) or LMHOSTS/HOSTS files for name resolution on the network. For a dial-up connection, Dial-up Networking installed on the machine running MailGate. This may be PSTN or ISDN. For ISDN on NT, 128k multi-channel operation is supported. *For Windows NT 3.51 Service Pack 5 is required. Be aware there may be some issues of compatibility with certain versions of core Microsoft dll's, depending upon what other Microsoft products are already installed. If problems are encountered please contact support. For Windows NT 4.0, Service Pack 3 is recommended. |
