POPWeasel Support Issues
Q. How can I uninstall POPWeasel?
A. POPWeasel can be uninstalled as follows:
- Go to "C:\Program Files" (or wherever you installed POPWeasel), and delete the "Weasel" directory.
- Go to "C:\WINNT\system32" and delete the "weasels.cpl" file.
To remove SpamWeasel components from the Windows registry you can do the following (Note: it is advised that you take great caution when attempting to edit the registry)...
- Click on Start | Run, and in the "Open" field type "regedit". This will open the Registry Editor.
- The Registry Editor is similar to Windows Explorer, clicking on the "+" sign beside each directory expands the contents of that directory. You'll need to use the following path: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE", right-click on the "7th Wave Software Ltd" directory, then select the "Delete" option.
